Cousins!

William got in some fun play time with his cousins!

Will had soooo much fun playing with his big kid cousins! They made him laugh so hard and he got a kick out of grabbing at their hair and faces. (I think they got a kick out of him, too!) Will also got to meet his little baby cousin, Sophia, who is visiting from Georgia! Sophia is so small, snuggly and beautiful - I already feel like I don't remember Will being that small, he looked so huge next to little Sophia!

I loved seeing Will interact with his cousins, it gave me such a warm and fuzzy feeling! I loved having more cousins than I knew what to do with as a kid, unfortunately most of William's baby cousins live out of state, so we'll take play time with them when we can get it!

Yesterday two different cousins were married and a brand spankin' new baby cousin arrived in the world! A good weekend to be blessed with so many cousins :)

Five Months!

Five months and lookin' fly...

William actually turned 5 months on Thursday, but due to a power outage and acute crabby baby syndrome, pictures were pushed back to today. :)

I took Will to a birthday party in that outfit, and he made it a whole half hour before a leaky poo diaper caused a wardrobe change... of course. Good thing that kid is so cute!

Dig In!

Today Will tried rice cereal for the first time! Our plan was to wait until he is 6 months and possibly skip rice cereal all together and just start him on a veg, but he is the most hungry kid ever. Of course, he didn't really dig the rice cereal and spit out most of it, so we'll try again next weekend :)

All the embroidery on Will's cute bib was done by a friend of my mother-in-law, so cute!

 What is this stuff??? Wills spent most of his "meal" spitting out the rice cereal and making crazy faces :)

Afterward we got William all cleaned up and gave him a fauxhawk... of course.

Tourist Time

Today a couple co-workers and I decided to take a stroll through downtown Detroit. I mean, it was sunny and the streets were full of people partying for opening day, and we were all full of delish potluck food. It was too much to try and stay at our desks. Plus, sometimes you just have to play tourist in your own little gem of a city.

We decided to steer clear of Woodward to avoid the opening day mayhem (wouldn't you?). Instead we strolled down to Hart Plaza to get some sun and avoid the crowds. It was great!

I was a little bummed The Spirit wasn't wearing its Tiger's jersey. Is that just a playoffs thing?

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter exploring the Botanical Gardens, enjoying the warm weather and the company of family. William was also paid a visit by the Easter Bunny at Grandma and Grandpa's house, lucky boy!

We also finally got a family picture! Pretty great considering the only other picture we had of the three of us was from the day Will was born :)
