Happy Father's Day!

To all the daddies we know, hope your Father's Day was a fun, memorable and meaningful celebration!

Our Father's Day ended up being a bit busy (the whole weekend was pretty busy... oh being a responsible adult.), so we spread the festivities into two chunks on Saturday and Sunday and had some rare family time with just the three of us.

William is so lucky to have such a wonderful, kind, loving, and fun papa! William saves his biggest smiles, cutest giggles and best snuggles for his daddy, they are the best of buds already.

William took his first selfie - he's pretty much cooler than us.

Will and Dave wore matching outfits for Father's Day Part I.
This is insanely cute to me and reinforces my  need for a baby girl..... :)

So cute I could die :)

This is a terrible photo of it, but this is Will's Father's Day gift for Dave!

Even More Family Time

Last weekend we went to a 25th anniversary party for my cousin, Steve and his wife, Joanne. The weather, food and company were perfect! So nice to be celebrating such a wonderful event! (My sister and I may have been the cutest flower girls ever in existence for their wedding, just saying :)

William got enough snuggles and play time for 20 babies... lucky boy.

^ My "babies". My Goddaughter, Madison and Will. Love them. :)

^William's cousins thought it was hilarious he put his foot in his mouth, and they all proceeded to do the same. Crazy kids.

Sunday we took Will on his very first trip to Frankenmuth! Earlier that week I had mentioned to Dave that I was jonesing for some Bavarian Inn buttered noodles and he said, "Well then lets go to Frankenmuth.". So we took a two hour drive for buttered noodles, we were not disappointed!

I'm not going to lie, all Dave and I really care about at Frankenmuth is the chicken dinner and the Cheese Haus. All you can eat deliciousness? A million kinds of cheese and tons of free samples? Yes, please. I can also tolerate Bronner's about once every other year. (Oh! And the brewery, we like that, too. Check it out.)

For all the times I have been to Frankenmuth I cannot figure out the "Bavarian Inn. vs. Zehnder's" argument. Aren't they the exact same food? Can someone explain it to me?

Family Time

We got in lots of family time this past weekend! We're so lucky to have so much family living fairly close to us. William got in some snuggle time with grandparents and great-grandparents! That lucky boy has five great-grandparents, I don't think I ever met any of my great-grandparents, so we're extra thankful William has that wonderful opportunity!

Saturday we went wedding dress shopping with my sister! Somehow I didn't take any pictures, but William had a great time getting snuggles from everyone there. Malissa found a beauuuuutiful wedding dress, it was a great day :)

Sunday William met his great grandma and grandpa Dietrich who have just returned from FL for the summer, and he met his cousin, JJ, who just turned one!

William got kisses from cousin, JJ :)

A nice shot of Will with Grandma Anne and Grandpa Fred

Butler family picture. William was clearly not interested in participating. :)

Life Is Good

Hey 2013, you've been pretty awesome so far, I hate to think that you're half done already. Could you slow down a bit?

Also, a very happy wedding weekend to our friends, Ganesh and Srija!!! Wish we could be there. :)
