Eight Months!

At 8 months, William:

-Scooches, rolls, creeps and kicks his way all over the place
-Would play in the water all day, every day if he could
-Has tried 24 different foods!
-Says, "ma-ma-ma-ma" and "da-da-da-da"
-Weighs in at just under 18lbs
-Wears size 4 diapers (only because he's too tall for size 3!)
-Wears size 3 months shorts (I'm not even kidding, I've had to buy him size 3 months at more than one store!)


Ignore the kid's mosquito bites.... we've clearly been outside a lot!

Sensory Jars

I made Will his first sensory jars! One jar has a little bit of dry rice and the other has an assortment of buttons.

 

He likes them :)

 

 

Whenever we get these jars out he plays with them for the longest time! Dave got really excited about these jars and wants to make him more :) I think the next jar is going to have some foreign coins tossed into it. I think the coins will make a cool sound in the jar, and what else are we going to do with coins from currencies in the EU that no longer exist? :)

A Little Va-cay

Last week we took a lovely trip out to the west side of the state and spent some time with Dave's family. Lots of sunshine, relaxation and good food ensued. :)

 ^^^ Will took his first boat ride (which he wasn't too thrilled about) and had his first swim in a lake, which he looooved! He's also had his second lake swim since then, that kid is a fish!

 ^^^ I fished for the first time in forever and caught the biggest fish that day! I was terrified of that thing and refused to touch it. At one point a fish Dave caught slipped out of his hands and ended up in my lap.... most horrifying moment of my life!
